Residential Care

Slow-stream rehabilitation in a residential care setting

About Residential Care

We admit patients to our Residential Care pathway to provide slower stream rehabilitation in one of our residential care settings, usually following completion of treatment under one of our acute pathways.   The service offers longer term rehabilitation or continuing care for adults who have specific needs following an acquired brain injury.

The accommodation within this pathway is primarily en suite bedrooms but we can also offer studio apartments and self-contained flats to support of more independent living, an important part of the rehabilitation process.

We offer this service at two different locations – Swanborough House, Brighton and Victoria House, Farnborough.  Our multi-disciplinary teams at these locations include physiotherapists and occupational therapists and we make referrals to other specialist services and treatments through our community services.  Our full-time rehabilitation assistants provide on-site support for residents and help them to achieve greater independence and a better quality of life.
