The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 recognises that a member of the public has the right to know how public service bodies make their operational decisions and how public money is used.  The Act gives anyone a general right to request access to see official information held by public authorities.

As an independent provider, Renovo falls outside of the Freedom of Information Act and as such we are not obliged to respond to FOI requests. However, we endeavour to respond to information requests at our discretion until the Information Commissioner’s Office and HM Government proceed with the bill to affect change in the FOI Act to encompass independent organisations delivering public services.
