Ensuring quality

At Renovo, we work hard to make sure that our patients receive the highest standard of care and treatment

Our goal is to continuously improve the quality of care we provide across our hospital and community settings. This is reflected in everything we do – from recruiting qualified staff to improving facilities and implementing robust systems and reporting structures.

To support our aims, we have established:

  • A dedicated Quality team including a Quality Lead and Clinical Quality Educators with coverage across our hospital and community settings
  • Comprehensive quality improvement plans linked to our CQC Action Plans and CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs)
  • Monthly monitoring and reporting to track patient safety events, infection control (eg. hand hygiene), patient experience (incidents/accidents) and audits which measure effectiveness of our quality processes
  • Training plans and learning outcomes appropriate to both our clinical and non-clinical staff including definition of mandatory and statutory training courses and tracking of completion and results
  • A compliments and complaints process aligned to industry standards

We are also working to embed industry standard measurement tools and software to support the monitoring of quality assurance across all levels of the organisation.

In addition, we submit a Quality Account annually to report on the quality of services we provide.  This is available to the public and covers patient safety, the effectiveness of treatments our patients receive as well as patient feedback about care provided.
