Hollanden Park Hospital Celebrates National Afternoon Tea Week

A Mad Hatter’s hat cake formed the centrepiece of a magnificent spread of afternoon tea goodies enjoyed by patients and staff as part of an Alice in Wonderland themed afternoon tea party held at Hollanden Park Hospital recently to mark National Afternoon Tea Week.

The afternoon of fun included a quiz and a tea bag throwing competition, and raised £36.50 for Headway – the brain injury association.

A special thanks to all the staff who organised the event – especially the kitchen staff who provided all the afternoon tea treats, and to Tanya, Head Chef at Hollanden Park Hospital who made the beautiful Mad Hatter’s hat cake.
